DAYBOX RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Our 30-day promise
We want you to love your DayBox. If it's not right for you, you can return most items within 30 days of delivery for a refund. We even encourage you to take it out and try it — a return won't be knocked back just because the DayBox has been used, as long as it comes back clean, complete and undamaged.

What can be returned
To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, your item must be:
- Returned within 30 days of the delivery date.
- Clean and in good working order, with no damage beyond reasonable trial use.
- Complete — including the battery, charging cables, accessories, manuals and any free gifts.
- Packed in its original packaging (or equivalent protective packaging that keeps it safe in transit).
- Accompanied by your order number or proof of purchase.

Please note: items returned dirty, damaged beyond normal trial use, missing parts, or without adequate packaging may be refused or have a reasonable deduction applied to cover cleaning, repair or replacement of missing items.

Items we can't accept for change-of-mind returns:
- Items returned after the 30-day window.
- Gift cards.
- Items marked as final sale or clearance (where stated at the time of purchase).
This doesn't affect your rights for faulty items — see Faulty items & warranty below.

How to start a return
- Email support@daybox.com.au or call 1300 959 544 with your order number and the reason for your return.
- We'll confirm your return is eligible and send you return instructions and the return address.
- Pack the item securely and send it back to us. Please don't send anything back before contacting us — we can't process returns that arrive unannounced.

Return shipping
For change-of-mind returns, you're responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a tracked and insured service, as we can't be responsible for items lost or damaged on the way back to us.
If your item is faulty, damaged on arrival, or not what you ordered, we'll cover the return shipping — just get in touch and we'll sort it out.

Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll email you to confirm it's been approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days. The time it takes for funds to appear can vary depending on your bank or card provider.
Your original shipping charge (if any) is non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.

Exchanges
Want a different size — say, swapping a 12L for an 18L? The fastest way is to return your original item for a refund and place a new order for the size you want. If you'd like a hand, just email us and we'll guide you through it.

Faulty items & warranty
Every DayBox is covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. If something goes wrong within that period, we'll repair or replace the item, or provide a refund, at no cost to you.
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, or cosmetic marks from regular use.
- Damage from misuse, accident, neglect, unauthorised repairs or modifications.
- Damage caused by using incorrect chargers, power sources or accessories.
To make a warranty claim, contact support@daybox.com.au with your order number and a description (photos or a short video help us help you faster).

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Our 30-day returns and 12-month warranty are in addition to — and do not limit — these rights.
