It started with a problem we kept hearing.

DayBox is built by the team behind Max Voltage Store, the Australian 12V power specialists who created the Volt Dropper, a voltage-reduction device with over 35,000 sold to campers, caravanners and off-grid adventurers.

Working every day with people running 12V fridges, we kept hearing the same thing: off-grid freedom was great, but portable cooling was the weak link. Eskies meant endless ice runs and soggy food. Cheap coolers couldn't keep up. People wanted a properly built, battery-powered option that matched the rest of their setup.

So we built it. DayBox is a premium, battery-powered portable fridge that keeps drinks cold and food fresh, designed around how Australians actually use their gear.
