It started with a problem we kept hearing.

DayBox is built by the same team behind Max Voltage Store — the Australian power and 12V specialists who created the Volt Dropper, our voltage-reduction device trusted by thousands of campers, caravanners and off-grid adventurers.

Working day in, day out with people running 12V fridges, we kept hearing the same thing: they loved the freedom of going off-grid, but portable cooling was always the weak link. Eskies meant endless ice runs and soggy food. Cheap coolers couldn't keep up. People wanted a properly built, battery-powered option that matched the quality of the rest of their setup.

So we set out to build it. DayBox is the result — a premium, battery-powered portable fridge engineered to keep drinks cold and food fresh, designed around how Australians actually get out and use their gear.
